Before becoming a Product Designer at Broadcom and VMware, I earned my Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from ArtCenter College of Design. From 2016 to 2018, I worked as a designer at BloomSky, an Internet of Things (IoT) startup that developed a smart weather network.

Since 2015, I have been the co-founder and team leader of an award-winning podcast, YinengFM, where designers and design educators from various disciplines share insight into their industries and personal stories about design with the audience through in-depth interviews.

I am someone who is always eager to seek out new experiences. In the summer of 2014, I cycled from Chengdu to Lhasa, China, conquering over 14 mountains above 13,000 feet and covering 1,346 miles in 30 days. In 2015, I spent weeks volunteering at Mother Teresa’s house in Calcutta, India, caring for critically ill patients. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the world and strengthened my sense of empathy.
